Athletics Carnival
Last Week on Tuesday our school held an athletics carnival. We have 3 different teams Bridges, Hart and Davis they all have a different colour to know who is who. Bridges are blue, Hart are red and Davis are yellow. The carnical went on for 2 days, it was a really good time with heaps of events inculding- Shot put, Long jump, High jump, Triple jump, discus, javelin, Tug of war and of course the running events.Bridges 6/7s both won the tug of war. I was in the team and it was really fun.I also came 3rd in shot put, and i was amazed that i actually did. Before we actually started running and doing the events we all had a chant that when we went onto the oval we sang! I’m in bridges and we were losing on the first day but on the second we came back winning by 24 points over davis while hart were about 200 behind us! we haven’t had the final, final scores yet but it has to be either out of davis and Bridges. I hope bridges win! The day was very exciting but i much rather the swimming carnival!!!

Climate Change!
Climate change is a big problem in earth today.
It is killing animals! I hate climate change it makes me sad to think that we as humans came to this earth and basically distored it. some would say made it better but how is it better if theres green house gases and holes in the ozone layer. Soon there will be no penguins waddling around and iceberg will be everywhere. I think that schools should get more into saving it like being aware of everything and having clean up days at least then we can help build a better future for the next generation. Anyway i think that what should happen.

This week i had to write about a picture.
I found this picture!
Its an inspiring picture to me. It tells me that no matter how old you are there’s always room for a teddy when your upset. The girl is walking on the beach with a teddy in her hand. I think she looks a bit sad. I know when ever I’m sad or cry i always reach out for something or someone to hug. It always makes me feel better. I think this picture is a great one for people who think there to old to have a teddy and do stuff that use to. Like when your an adult you don’t really have time for video games and other things but its a good way to get away from the world for a little bit. Other than that i just mentioned about teddies. This picture is beautiful because of the background. The sun is just coming out of the clouds it’s a beautiful site. Anyway that’s why i picked this picture and thank you for reading!

Big Green Challenge Week #2
This week we had to do something to do with making a difference based on our category i choose water so this week i tried having a shorter shower!
I believe i have made a difference and will try from now on. But we were told to write about our expreiences so here goes. Having a shorter shower meant that i could only wash my hair. And not stay in there because it was so warm when it was freezing when i got out. I didn’t condition my hair because that would have taken an extra 10 minutes. It was kinda hard because it was freezing when i got out and you just wanted to get back in to the warm water. Also i checked that our shower heads are water one thats use less water which they are andi checked that the water we use everyday goes to good use (For the garden) That was my expreience for this week.

Blogging week #4
First i visited edgars blog who lives in hong kong, its a very interesting blog. I leanrt about him. he is 10, likes sports, has a pet dog that acts like a cat i think that would be really cute. Thats what I learnt about Edgar.
next I looked at a girl named Kira who lives in the U.S.A who like cupcakes. Cupcakes are really cute. I love decorating them. Kiras heading tells it all. Kira’s Kafe is what it says and she really likes food. Shes an interesing person. I recommend most my class mates or anyones else to visit her blog.
I also commented on Jayden’s blog who lives in New zealand who seems to like animals alot. He has a fact of the day about his animal. And that is pretty interesting.
After that i commented on Demars Blog. I learnt he never lets life be boring. He does a range of different things that are all very interesting.
I also commented on Megans blog who loves butterflies like me. She has a great blog To check out!
Day off School!
I had a day off school when the power went off. Mum took me around to check if school was off or not which it was. When we got around to my school there was no water or anything which meant i didn’t have to go to schoool. The rest of the day it was kind of boring because there was no power. That was last year and i still remember it. Whenever the power goes off its hard to live with it. But then you think about the olden days and how they had to live without power, and it makes you actually want to learn it. So that was a day i got of school.
